For Cinco de Mayo! Make mine a Tito-Rita!

A little less sweet and oh so smooth. The Tito Rita!

The Tito’s Austin business (fun) headquarters tested out recipes for the Tito-Rita for you a few days ahead so they could share today in preparation for tomorrow’s holiday. It’s a wonderful alternative for the celebratory  Cinco de Mayo Rita. Here’s a basic recipe but you can make it your own by infusing Tito’s with hot peppers for some added spice or by adding a splash of soda for a little fizz.  Some people skip the liqueur  and make it their own with only fresh lime, lemon and orange juices. Sometimes Tito just uses lime-aid and adds his vodka. Here’s a simple recipe to start with.

The Tito Rita

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • .5 oz Cointreau
  • 1.5 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1.5 oz fresh squeeze lime juice
  • .5 oz simple syrup

Method:

  • Shake, strain
